My Mika tattoo.

I kind of don’t have the energy to type a full blown story out but…

Being bullied has left me with permanent scars and mental challenges.  I want to say “I am not what you think I am, I am golden!” to all the people who bullied and abused me. Mika’s music has been there for me even when I was in the darkest of hours. I am golden♥

This is my friend Emily Rose, she has been bullied as bad as I have been bullied, and she’s one of the only people I know that truly understands what bullying can do to you and your mental health. She’s an inspiration to me.

We Are Golden is about remembering your self-worth, it’s about telling the world you are important, it’s about knowing and loving yourself, it’s about screaming out loud that you are indeed made of gold. 

I can’t think of an even more perfect tattoo for her.
